Instructions:
Follow these steps to write about a fun science topic. Use your imagination and have fun!
Step 1: Pick a Topic
Choose a Science Topic:
Think about something in science that you think is really cool. Here are some ideas:
Volcanoes
Planets
How plants grow
Magnets
Amazing animals
Step 2: Learn More
Find Information:
Ask a parent or teacher to help you find books or websites about your topic. Write down what you learn.
Step 3: Write Your Story
Introduction:
Start by telling what your topic is and why you chose it.
Example:
“Have you ever seen a volcano erupt? Volcanoes are amazing, and I want to tell you why.”
Details:
Write a few sentences about your topic. Use the facts you learned.
Example:
“Volcanoes are mountains that can explode with hot lava. They are made when magma from inside the Earth comes to the surface.”
Fun Facts:
Add some fun or surprising facts.
Example:
“Did you know that the biggest volcano in our solar system is on Mars? It’s called Olympus Mons.”
Conclusion:
Finish by saying why your topic is cool and important.
Example:
“Volcanoes are powerful and exciting. Learning about them helps us understand Earth better.”
Step 4: Draw a Picture
Draw:
Make a picture about your topic. It can show what you wrote about.

Write names on parts of your drawing to explain it
